Hunters, We would like to inform you about an important update regarding the use of ReShade in Hunt: Showdown. After testing and verification, we will forbid the use of ReShade within the next few days. We have decided that due to the unfair advantages it provides, the use of this program will be classed as an exploit. You will not be banned for having ReShade, but you will no longer be able to play Hunt: Showdown while it is activated.

    Yay! I feel like this is a great step forward. But Crytek needs to put more energy into additional accessibility options for hunt showdown to ensure people who used ReShade for reasons other than cheating are still able to play.

      I’m colorblind, so I’m sympathetic… but I expect a lot of people claiming to use ReShade for accessibility are lying. It’s not particularly popular with colorblind gamers when the entire game render is changed in the name of accessibility (maybe you’re the first I’ve met, I don’t know if you’re speaking of your personal challenges or abstractly).

      IMO, the typical colorblind issue with gaming is UI elements or UI-like hints… and Hunt has very little of that nature (I’ve heard the dog cages are supposed to use red board if there’s something in them – in this case, I’d just say remove that and make everyone go off the presence of the lantern, that’s easy enough).
