Did AT&T have an NSA board member?

I think there’s a good chance you can send text privately when you use proper encryption and both parties are careful. (Private for now, at least, with potential for decryption in the future.) Nothing about OpenAI makes me think any text hitting their API would ever be private. I would expect a three letter agency at my door if I tried to plan 9/11 Pt. 2 with ChatGPT. What should this appointment make me think?

I’m sure there will be some impact I’m not aware of, but it seems if it were critical for the government to keep the NSA ostensibly distant from the company, this appointment wouldn’t have happened.

Nope, Lies, Apple partnership with OpenAI means they r doing everthing to protect my privacy on my iPhone. Totally nothing suspicious can happen because Apple says so.

Snowden is Android-poor and a traitor to USA.

Small reminder that Snowden became a Russian asset and not to take what he says now as too credible.

There is a big difference in being a “Russian asset” and chosing exile in Russia over going to prison for the rest of his life for blowing the whistle on a highly illegal, immoral and unethical spy program. The man is a hero and sacrificed a lot to tell us about it.

Not really, his exile is bound to some things. He married a Russian woman…

He definitely did something good, but beyond that its not good to just trust him with everything he says.

Bro its relevant that he is basically putins puppet since he is in Russia and that Russia/Putin will use him for propaganda purposes.

Not to poke the trolls, but what in this article relies on snowden’s authority?

Seems like to me he’s only drawing attention to something easily verifiable.

Read the other comments, its about using Snowden as a authority argument, not that this is wrong, its absolutely correct what he said here.
