Man…the only safe way to repurpose plastic is to “kill it with fire” in especially prepared industrial icinerators, that’s how bad it is. If you make soles out of it, synthetic lumber, textiles…all the downcycling methods end up just getting plastic eroded into the ground, the waterways :/

I think we’ll know we’re in a circular economy when our bins go away.
