It is a waste of time to try to refute Mr. Trump’s arguments like in a normal debate. It’s nearly impossible to identify what his arguments even are. He starts with nonsense and then digresses into blather. This has gotten only worse in the years since we debated. I was not surprised that after a recent meeting, several chief executives said that Mr. Trump, as one journalist described it, “could not keep a straight thought” and was “all over the map.” Yet expectations for him are so low that if he doesn’t literally light himself on fire on Thursday evening, some will say he was downright presidential.
Pretty much sums up the double standard with Trump.
As much as Hillary screwed us, she’s right. The moderators and the system were an absolute disgrace. At a minimum they need to mute anyone when it isn’t their turn. Otherwise there is no point.

It’s in the debate rules that they already agreed to, which is why everyone is expecting a cancelation from Trump.
Ya. When I read that the Trump campaign agreed to that, I was absolutely shocked. Either Trump is going to run away or he’s counting on screaming loud enough to be picked up by Biden’s mic. Or, maybe he’s just so high on his own shit that he really believes he won’t come off as a poo flinging orangutan.

I don’t disagree with a single thing she said, including that it should be an easy choice. On the other hand, Boebert won the election today, so I have zero faith that anything sensible will happen.
