    correlation ≠ causation

    It is amazing how many people fail at this basal logic even in the present era. There are entire political parties that exist in this cognitive void. Perhaps this radical enlightenment was an attempt by evolution to remedy humanity’s limiting cognitive orbits

      They just straight up lie. Law are pretty lax back then. You can have patent medicine and say whatever your medicine can do. You know, snake oil, and similar stuff like that.

    Did they just straight up falsify these results? I thought low RBC count was a common side effect of radiation therapy for cancer. Although I have no idea if radium emits the same type of radiation as radiation therapy.
