They’ve been blatantly backing Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and why wouldn’t they?: They’re ideological allies. As part of their fascist coup, the hard right wants to ultimately entirely switch sides - to ally with Russia and against Europe, since Russia represents everything they admire and Europe represents everything they hate.
