    It’s funny they jumped from “a guy saw us on his webcam doorbell and shot at us” to “someone we’ve already detained could use a voice command to kill us with poison gas”.

    I’m wondering if there’s any legal obstacle to using this thing. I know the average citizen can’t legally use a cell phone jammer, can police? Do they need a warrant or authorization?

      The Communications Act of 1934, as amended, prohibits the operation, manufacture, importation, marketing, and sale of equipment designed to jam or otherwise interfere with authorized radio communications, such as radar, global positioning system (GPS), and cell phone communications.
