Wow, the difference in quality between the Squier and the Donner is incredible. It just feels so much smoother to play, I don’t get the rattle and it just sounds and feels better overall. I’m confused by the reviews comparing the Donner to a p-bass. There’s no comparison. I’m so glad I finally got my hands on my mini! It looks like a doll’s toy next to the standard scale though!
Oh and added bonus, the tone dial actually does something.
I’m still having trouble offloading my Donner. I can’t even trade it in.
Just curious, how much does it mess with your muscle memory? I feel like I’d go back 5 years.
It’s not too bad, actually. I’ve pretty much adapted, but I’m still relatively new to bass, so there’s not much to unlearn.
