Would love to see how you do it too! I have a hotwire I got a while back that i still haven’t had a chance to use. Been following Black Magic Crafts for a while, always loved his work. I enjoy printing and painting miniatures, and terrain and buildings seem really really fun.

In all honesty though, it’s been ~2 years since i did an in person have, almost everything I do is online. But I really love miniatures, terrain, maps, etc for in person

I’m pretty new to it but grew up loving crafts and have been an art nerd my entire life so I’ve really enjoyed it. I didn’t take any progress pics for the last one I made- a crystal cavern, but I’m hoping I’ll remember them for the future. I’ll be sure to share my thoughts on my process!

And yeah that makes sense, I haven’t played at all for quite a while now (I like playing, but I’m not great at roleplay so I find it a bit fatiguing), but the last campaign I was in was in was online. The terrain I’m making right now is big set piece stuff for a friend’s campaign and I’ve really enjoyed getting to be a part of their storytelling process.

I definitely reccomend trying it if you get the chance, I’ve had a blast. Its honestly been a wonderful creative outlet, and a nice excuse to work on something with my hands. djsb

I have a 10 month old, so the hope is one day to be able to share the hobby with him, either from making things for us to play together with, or to make things together

Aw, that sounds lovely! My first experience with D&D was joining my brother playing open games at a local game store and there was always a guy who had his kid with him- the kid was better than most of the adults we played with and it always makes me smile to look back on them having bonding time together ❤️
