One chud I’ve been recently arguing with was saying he didn’t care about the destruction that massive corpo “AI” gimmicks were doing, complete with “to each their own” consoomerbrain cliches, and showed how much he didn’t care by giving Reddity replies for like a day after there was nothing left to say but “dont care, lol”
All of the humor value came from “haha this is shocking and wasn’t previously on TV” edginess gimmicks which have gotten very old as decades have gone by and the rest was clapter (where it isn’t actually funny but it’s found delightful for agreement reasons) for enlightened centrist apathy gospel.
“Caring too much about anything is stupid and bad!” was fucking garbage ideology in the 90s and it’s only gotten worse.
