Just added the tablet live dashboard to my ever-changing sim racing rig.

I really like the way it turned out. It’s just an old Galaxy Tab4 attached to the desk with a car mount. Running SimHub and Simhub Android app.

It allowed me to stop using RaceLabs Advanced Panel Overlay which I was looking to do. Plus it looks neat.

Some info about the rig for anyone who cares…

3 random 24in curved monitors. 75hz, 144hz, 75hz mounted to a desk via monitor arms.

The next thing I’m looking to upgrade to is a better triple monitor mount. My current setup allows for too much sagging.

Cheers!

Looks great. I’ve got a dedicated dash like that run by simhub too. Nice to have consistent info across cars and sims.

Is simhub a general one and free to use? I primarily play ACC so I’m not sure if it is needed. I can see the use case for it on iracing for sure!

I haven’t tried it with acc, but it is free to use. That being said it has a little nag every so often, silly quality of life features such as minimize to tray and running at 60fps are locked behind the 6€ registration.

I’ll probably end up buying it just because it seems like a quality piece of software.

Thanks for the response I’ll check it put. BTW how is sim racing on monitors with different refresh rates? I have a 60hz and 144hz but haven’t tried to expand the view. My guess is I would have to reduce the faster monitor.

From what I understand the 144 middle monitor will still run at 144, but the two running at 75hz will “lag” behind producing a slight distortion at the bezels. That being said, I do not notice anything different. ¯\(ツ)

Different refresh rates can’t be optimal for viewing but hey if it works it works 🫠
