Not something I’ve seen even in a reddit app before. So the first of its kind I’ve encountered.

Incredible and makes browsing /c/all so much better, and I don’t have to individually block new versions of communities anymore.

And ability to change view between list and card without having to go into settings is also fantastic.

For example, if you want to block any community that contains the word ‘meme’ it’ll go and block any community containing the word ‘meme’.

Hi, if you add Elon to the list of filters under settings it will filter all posts containing that word. Or if you wanted to filter say all posts under communities that include the word elon that’s possible under community filters.

A better examples might be communities that include the word ‘meme’ because if I didn’t want to see that currently I would have to manually go in and block 287 communities (on lemmy.world).

Apollo for Reddit had keyword based filters that would match on subreddits and post titles. I miss that feature the most. I would basically filter out all of the stuff that where closed minded people with simple takes were spewing their bile and hatred for one another. There would be no point of open discussion. Also anything else that I was feeling a mental fatigue from seeing. Politic Trump Biden Elon Musk Zuck Republican Democrat Liberal Conservative Twitter Meta

Hi, both of those are supported on Connect. Subreddit filters -> Community filters.
