We used to feed a stray on our front porch. He was a mean cuss and would only let my mom near him. One week when my mom was out of town, I had to feed him. So I haul out the 12 lbs. bag of kitty crunchers one night to feed him. He hisses at me, then sees I have food. I pour some out into his dish and my grip slipped.
Like 4 pounds of cat food spilled all over the place. I tried to scoop some of it up, but the cat hissed at me and tried to rip my hand off. So I figured I’d just clean it up in the morning after he ate and wandered off to do cat stuff.
When I got up to check on our porch at around 6:30 AM, the pile of crunchers was gone. Little guy ate like twice his weight in food.
Unfortunately we couldn’t properly adopt him because he didn’t get along very well with our other cat. They’d stare at each other through the screen door, but if he thought she was getting too close to him or his dishes he’d start hissing and growling.
