I’ve played all the Batman games. Not Gotham knights and I have never even heard of the suicide squad game. But I instantly ignore all online multiplayer games so I guess that could be the reason.

Don’t phrase it like they fucked up. Their publisher made them stop doing the subgenre they pioneered, to chase the latest “it always makes a billion dollars!” trend, and now they’re resuming things they actually wanted to do.

Was Gotham Knights not part of that continuity? Huh.
