I recently discovered that bridges exist on Matrix allowing you to communicate with others on different platforms.
I would love to make use of this, but I lack the technical abilities to spin up my own server… at least not without a step-by-step for noobs. Does anyone know of a server that’s open to join that has bridges available to use? I tried joining a few open servers, but they didn’t seem to have bridges enabled/installed.
Or barring that some reasonably priced turnkey service? I saw one that was $22/mo for up to 50 users, but that seems a bit much for just me.
Oh, this would make things much easier. I signed up… do you have any idea how long it takes to get an invite?
I took me long enough that I forgot about it and was super confused when I got my invite. But, I believe they are speeding up now. I can’t say though.
