Oh, don’t misunderstand, it absolutely means something. Satire, political cartoons, parody, etc have been used for centuries to make a point. Memes are no different.
So then why the deflection with “memes are supposed to be silly?” Obviously I’m referring to the meaning of the meme, passing it off as “just a meme” is intellectual cowardice.
