I see that so much in games these days. I’m fine with a game that improves a formula but it’s clear there’s a lot of just straight up inferior copying going on.
A lot of indie and big studio games are trying to hard to look artsy but lack in gameplay mechanics and story. Which really is the only thing that truly matters.
I only looked at one of the videos, but I was shocked at how much Enchanted Portals isn’t even trying to hide how much it’s copying Cuphead lol
