My take: for me Charlie seems to lack post-Kane imagination here. I feel more relieved than disappointed. Kane has gone in such a progressive way that it feels like more of an opportunity than a hole. A *systemic* replacement for his goals is where we turn attention to now.

Lack of depth in defence is a real worry, though.
