Facism is essentially capital abandoning liberalism to defend itself in violent reaction to socialism/threat of socialism.
Fascism is an anti-intellectual movement so there’s not much real “theory” but anti-communism is its bedrock belief.
It terms of economics theres really no difference between it and modern neoliberal capitalism
I don’t actually follow your definition at all. I would say that while fascism is not an econimic system itself, that there is no fascism without capitalism
Fascism isn’t just capital abandoning liberalism, but free market capitalism as well.
The fascist state will destroy capitalist enterprises in the name of the state; a lot of Nazi’s initial expansion was caused by Nazis destroying Jewish capitalist businesses.
If the state is picking the winners of capitalism, it isn’t just capitalism.
Capitalist governments might pick winners, but it is general in the context of those enterprises providing support for their other enterprises.
And it wasn’t a genocide yet when a Jewish owned business got turned over to an Aryan. This was a fascist government choosing winners and losers. Those winners would choose to support the Nazis.
You’re wrong. I’m not going to elaborate any further because i feel you have taken the discussion to gross and unconscionable place.
You seem to care more about the violation of “free markets” that don’t and have never existed, than the pointless eradication of millions of human lives.
I don’t care about free markets. I’m just noting that tyranny and oppression come from more than just free markets. In some cases, tyranny via fascism comes from a promise to put free markets under state control.
That is just wildly incorrect. Fascism does not make the promise to put free markets under state control, more importantly, none of the fascist societies put free markets under state control.
Fascism does not make the promise to put free markets under state control
It does when the politics of the situation suits it. This is how Mussolini made the trains run on time. And as I said before, the Nazis exerted state control over local businesses by taking away some businesses from Jews and giving them to loyal Aryans. State control over the economy is exerted, just not to the benefit of everyone.
Not true, fascism does not abandon markets or capitalism, it destroys all opposition to those things. Crush labor movement, kill and imprison communists, violently impose capitalism and markets on people who don’t want it by force.

This isnt accurate.
All capitalist governments “pick winners” within their systems to some degree. That just isn’t an important or relevant issue.
Jewish businesses and their wealth were targeted, but that wasn’t an attack on capitalism and markets - it was a genocide!
Capitalist governments might pick winners, but it is general in the context of those enterprises providing support for their other enterprises.

thats
thats just moving around the capitalists
thats not state nationalization
thats just doing a racism
and lies, mussolini never made the trains run on time
All i hear at this point is
