I’m planning on visiting Italy this fall! I am super excited because the Renaissance was my favorite history period to study when I was a kid, and I’m also a fan of ancient history. It’d be fun to finally see the places I’ve read so much about. I am thinking of maybe also visiting Switzerland and France too. I’m currently trying to figure out the logistics of that. The stories about the hostel prices make me nervous. I don’t know why, but I can only see other comments on the main instance, and not through the instance I’m on. In the winter, though it will more likely will be at the start of 2024, I want to visit India. As a solo mid-20s woman, I have decided that I will join a group tour for the first time. I did a lot of research, read stuff online, and asked Indian friends irl, and there were a lot of mixed opinions. I figured it’s better to play it safe the first time, and that if I felt I’d be fine traveling in the country alone, I could always go back on my own. There’s so much to see there!
