Carlos Sainz Sr has hit out at Ferrari’s “curious” decision not to call off the late fight between his son and Charles Leclerc at the F1 Italian Grand Prix.
It did seem shortsighted to push full engine wear on brand new engines. I know they’re limited in how much they can “turn down” and engine by modes now, but there’s still lift and coast, rpm ranges to target, not to mention the risk of crashing.
