      Exactly. Class is more important than race anyways, but the rich and powerful prefer us to be squabbling over race instead.

        Is this actually demonstrable from data? This is one of those phrases that gets said often, but typically by people who aren’t facing negative outcomes from their race.

        My gut says that economics matters too, but I really think we could be missing the reality of the situation unless we get the thoughts of people who have experienced racism.

      And in the real world it goes against them. What prevents someone from thinking “why should I trust your degree when you had easier time getting in?”, same with all diversity quotas
