This post might sound like an advertisement (which it partly is, of course, you don’t try to get published if you don’t want people to read your stuff) but I want to use this post to encourage other new writers.

It took a long time to find a home for this story and I thought about giving up on it when rejections started piling up in my inbox. I’m sure there are others who feel the same from time to time, but please continue to submit.

Finding an agent is tough. My main problem is I can’t for the life of me write a query letter. I love writing and have written 5 novels but describing what they are about and selling myself I find hard. Any tips?

Unfortunately not. I mainly write short stories and just submit them to magazines. I started a few novels but I find it hard to finish, so none of them are ready for submission to agents

But congratulations! Writing five novelsnis really something you can be proud of and I hope you find a way to get them published

There magazines that still publish stories? And thank you it taken about 10 years to do so. One I am writing now started as a sentence I wrote in 2006.
