It was a great show that run much longer than it’s viewership can support, and it was announced way earlier that the story will be wrapped by 6th season. The Expanse universe is not abandoned either. Telltale Games just launched a new Prequel adventure game a few days ago: https://store.epicgames.com/tr/p/the-expanse-a-telltale-series
