Idk if I have the full thing or not, but my dad taped (audio cassette, no video) at least some of it, and I can digitize those four tapes if you’re interested.

Edit: After finding the tapes and talking to my dad, seems he taped all this off the radio. Sounds fucking great tbh lol. I unfortunately do not have all of it though, it goes straight from summer of '69 into some U2 and seems to jump around from there, so it can’t be.

Thanks for getting back! Unfortunately, I’m looking for video mainly, because that’s how my mum remembers watching the entire thing on her first TV.

My dad was saying the same, said his parents even watched some lol.

The “Live Aid - FULL CONCERT - July 13th 1985” playlist by PyroTheFox on youtube doesn’t cut it? I haven’t watched it myself so idk if it really is as full as it claims.

Oh thats nice. I think this will do for now. I’d love to get the full recording at some point with moderators talking and ads and all that for maximum nostalgia though 😄

There’s some results in the Bay. Full box set. Not sure about a continuous broadcast though.

I used to find some interesting things on the guitar101 forums. If it’s still around that might be a great resource. Tons of SBD recordings from many eras. Perhaps they may have better insight
