Adults who identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual are more likely than adults who identify as straight to experience serious thoughts of suicide, mental health conditions including major depressive episodes and they are more likely to use substances like alcohol or drugs, according to a new US government report.
Likely because the research this piece is based on just looked at gay, lesbian, and bi folks - lots of research is restricted like this for a whole number of reasons. But yeah, no surprises here!
