Putin’s primary hope is the west gets ‘bored’ of supporting Ukraine or somehow runs out of equipment. The US isn’t running out of Abrams any time soon. The US produced more than it was using for the last two decades, both to build up a stockpile for situations like this, and to keep the manufacturing lines and employees so production can be scaled-up if needed.

I dearly hope the Ukrainians are trained up now, or before they deploy these tanks. Sounds like a real opportunity to get on the offensive.
