I switched to Newpipe on my phone, it’s amazing. No ads and lots more features than YouTube ever had.
I’m using the PipePipe app. It also supports the (Japanese and Chinese, respectively) video hosting sites NicoNico and BiliBili, which I had never used before, but now they’re just a button click away
