Seeing as this instance and community is brand new, I’m very curious how everyone here flies their digital planes.

Personally, I love flying on Vatsim. Usually I grab the Fenix A320.
Right now I’m flying some different planes, hoping that the Fenix V2 update drops soon… I need that extra performance to not fly at less than 20fps constantly!
Also flying the CRJ, AN225 and ATR. Might also do some VFR on Vatsim soon.

But I’d love to hear how you guys fly.

Hi! I’m one of those weirdos who went into flightsim to play career addons or MMOs like FSEconomy, FSCharter, what have you. I’m currently in FSEconomy after trying out Aviatife and FSCharter, and see myself staying there thanks to the good communities I’ve found myself in. With FSE I am able to fly in all sorts of places, from a dirt strip in Chicken, Alaska to flying VIPs on bizjets out of Guam for a group to cruising along the Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Saudi coasts as I have an FBO network there.

As for the flying itself, I’m pretty casual although I do stick to flying in cockpit and can fumble my way through checklists and operating the ProLine FMS seen on the CJ4. That said, I live for just setting the plane to cruise in AP and looking out the cockpit, a passenger window, or just relishing the view in external mode while I do my IRL work at home on another monitor. I don’t use ATC though I’ve dabbled in Pilot2ATC for a bit and know the most basic of phraseology - I just set my SIDs, STARs, and approaches and pretend I got cleared for all that, lol.

I play on MSFS. As for planes, my favorites include the Vision Jet, the Big Radials Goose, Duckworks DC-3, PZL Wilga, Tecnam P2006T, and many more. Variety is the spice of life and I rarely get to just fly one model in one flying session!
