I’ve been trying to make people aware of Lemmy on discord and Mastodon, but it’s always met with resistance citing “the devs are pro authoritarianism tankies.” Kbin seems to be picking up steam because of the developer baggage.
Do you feel like this negative perception will hamstring Lemmy’s growth?
Well it is nice to write about politics without having 20 libs in my replies saying that I am supporting the death of the 86 billion people killed by Communism hahaha. I like it, it’s definitely better for my mood, and my eyes finally get to relax after having to roll them every time I scroll through the comments on Reddit.
