Set a new record with my GF for hiking upwards (650m). We’re training for the Säntis.
We’re not fit so it took us almost twice the time from the official hiking sign but we got there.
Thankfully we had shade for practically all the way or that would have been brutal. Were rewarded with butterflies landing on us, nice view and delicious saussage at the top.
Thanks. We both love to hike and do it pretty often. But I have problems going downhill. My knees start to hurt badly after about 300m down (not much to do about it but lose weight). Meanwhile my GF is rather small so going uphill counts about double for her. So most of our hikes are more on the flat side.

Nice! Keep going, hiking is really rewarding!

But we’re definitely gonna keep going.
