You present that as a factual statement. Personally I don’t believe humans have souls either. We’re just biological constructs, just like animals. We are classified as animals even. But we have different beliefs and frames of reference here.
Perhaps it is then better to ask, does it matter in this discussion if they have a soul or not if they have the ability to experience suffering? Or does not having a soul in your viewpoint mean they cannot suffer?
