Its amazing! I have come to love the kodi/jellyfin combo :-D

    What does this do? What’s the benefit over just running your libraries through Kodi infrastructure?

      It simply adds the jellyfin instance as source. Its more that I already had a jellyfin instance, and now run a pi4 with kodi as frontend for my tv :-). The added functionality on top of jellyfin is really nice.

      I am interested in this as well. I’m running Kodi with a simple NFS share but would like to know if Jellyfin handles media better somehow.

    I agree that it is awesome to use Kodi as a Jellyfin front end. I use some CoreElec ARM boxes that directly support all the codecs I use. My problem is that the Jellyfin plugin only updates content at startup, so I have to restart Kodi before it picks up changes made since the last restart. I’ve asked around and either no one else is having the issue or they didn’t chime in.
