I know Yeat is extremely popular, but I’ve always thought he was vaguely on the same level as some other artists such as Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert, whom I tend to strongly dislike.

TikTok has been shoving Yeat’s music in my face for about 2 weeks now and I finally caved and decided to give his stuff a real chance. This guy is fucking amazing! I listened to Up 2 Më and really liked it, as well as some singles and remixes.

I mean, this goes insanely hard!!!

Do you guys like his stuff? What are your favourite tracks/projects?

Also, what other artists do you recommend that are similar to Yeat?

    I checked out Yeat after he was interviewed on the Channel 5 Chicago Rap Festival video. I spent the last day listening to some of his stuff again after seeing this thread. This is probably the first time I’ve ever felt “too old”. I’ve enjoyed a couple of his songs but overall I just don’t get it. Despite that, I actually think his music is good, but I feel like I’m way outside the target audience.

    That said, I fuck with Nun id change and No morë talk off of his 2023 album. I don’t fully get it I think but I can still really get in to both of those tracks.
