No gatekeeping on links. I click a link and it opens instantly without giving me a chance to view URL. Malware inc.

Cannot properly view parent comments/context when reading inbox replies. If I get a reply to something and I cant remember what i said, I have to dig through the entire comment section of the original post. my parent comment doesn’t appear half the time, it’s inconsistent. and if I have several replies to one comment, there’s no way to navigate to my parent comment and all its replies; I can only view one comment thread at a time if navigating from inbox, or all comment if navigating from OP.

does anyone know if any other lemmy apps have these basic functions?

While you certainly list a handful of stuff that would make Voyager an even better app, I think the way you wrote that makes you sound like you are entitled to all that functions. This is a small app for Lemmy done by a couple of people in their free time, afaik.

dont really care how it sounds. you cant name one thing in there that was a judgment. I just laid out the facts. I dont care to fluff with complements. I’m not in charge of how they feel about the feedback. I hope they can use it

devs, you are very pretty. I use app and happy smile. its your smile for you. I hope you prioritize these functions. thanks.

        tone police happy?

I don’t know what platform you are on, but if it is Android, ‘gatekeeping’ is easily achievable, and it’s on you. Set open to default browser instead of in app or use something like UnTrackme.

I am locking this thread. OP, like anyone, is welcome to make bug and feature requests on GitHub. That is much more constructive. Thanks!
