I grew up in Boston, and I always missed the T, so many cities just don’t have a functioning subway system. This is definitely great news for New England in general.

Later in life I ended up in the PNW and Amtrak rail coverage is actually quite good for my needs. I would love for some of that money would come over to us but it’s great news for the country in general in regard to rail investments.

Hoping this is setting a precedent for the US (won’t happen if orange man breaks our democracy)
