It seems based on the article he took on the role during the administration.

Does the article actually say that? Where?

Your link proves that he was at a state dinner. I guess that’s proof he took the role?

The CNN article itself does not make that claim. Thus, if this official is racist, then every president who employed his services is racist, too, at least by the logic of mentioning that he was a former Obama administration official.

Anyway, this Huffpost article notes that

A now-deleted profile of Seldowitz on the company’s website stated he served as Acting Director for the National Security Council South Asia Directorate in the early 2000s. A LinkedIn profile belonging to Seldowitz, which also appears to have been removed, said he was employed in that role from February 2009 to January 2011, according to CNN.

Seldowitz told the Times he had previously worked in both Democratic and Republican administrations, including holding a position at the State Department’s Office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs.

I’m not trolling. You’d know that if you were intellectually honest enough to evaluate the claim or more discerning when it comes to the media.

My link proves that he had an official position in the administration because it gives his title. What claim CNN makes is completely irrelevant to the question of whether the guy worked in an official capacity in the Obama admin, which he very clearly did. Something any intellectually honest person would be able to understand.

You know what? I apologize for calling you intellectually dishonest. It’s clear now that we were talking at cross-purposes.

whether the guy worked in an official capacity in the Obama admin

That’s not the issue. The issue is if his official capacity in the Obama administration reflects upon Obama.

Because Fox News could easily take this article and say, “Look! Obama’s Marxist-Leninist-Nazi beliefs inspired him to hire an Islamophobe! The hypocrisy of the Far-Left on display again!”

But since this official held this role for both Democratic and Republican administration, it either impinges on the moral judgement of every administration under which he served or none of them.

And he had that official title before the Obama administration. So there’s no association. Do you think every federal worker is swapped out for a new one every time the president changes?

No, my point is that US government as a whole is a deplorable regime regardless of which specific clowns happen to be the face of it at any given time. People like Seldowitz are what constitutes the permanent bureaucracy in US. And these people are the scum of the earth.
