For Linux: Geany Python Meld Nextcloud Reminna and TightVNC Thunderbird Zim For Android: Just Weather Joplin OpenSync Tasks OSMAnd Nextcloud SMSBackp Connect Bot I also recommend the site: https://alternativeto.net/ . You can just search and it will tell you the most used FOSS apps in any category you want.
