I know Aaron from Scalped and Southern Bastards, I think this is the first hero comic of his I’ve read.
They’re both great, although Scalped is a long-time favorite of mine and I only recently worked through southern bastards.
If you like his writing, either one of those books are fantastic, although personally Scalped is more satisfying as a story while southern bastards is more deliberately uncomfortable pretty much the whole way through, because being Southern is so complex and personal to both of the Jason’s(Aaron and Latour) writing and drawing it.
I’ve read some of Scalped but it’s hard to track down the collected editions unless new ones have been published. I’ll hopefully finish reading it at some point as what I read was excellent.
I’ve been enjoying the series and like Aaron as a writer. Art is great too. It’s an interesting and different setting for the character for sure.

Have you asked at shops? I usually see them sitting on shelves around different shops.
It’s definitely worth tracking down, the story never slows down and just stays as compelling straight up until the last page.
What a good comic
I’ll keep hunting but local shops in my area don’t have the trades. I may check eBay and pull the trigger if I can find a fair price.
Good idea, someone’s got to have them online.
Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some of them at a library.
