You can also setup a cron job to periodically clean oldest files for you.
Example: @weekly find ~/.cache -type f -mtime +7 -delete
This will delete everything older than 7 days inside your cache folder.
I guess you could also Mount a tmpfs to that directory
As long as you limit browser disk cache. For me they’re the biggest offenders with 6 GB, way off from the next largest dir which is Lutris with ~200 MB which is basically just the latest Wine-GE tarball.
