Didn’t get the votes in the Senate becuase of Manchin/Sinema. Got Inflation Reduction act (a much reduced version) instead. Perhaps in the next election if there’s enough D in the Senate that they won’t need weak D’s like Manchin and Sinema (who won’t be there anyway) there can be a Build Back Betterer.
