I wanted to transfer some files from my phone to my old laptop and when I opened LocalSend it looked like this. It’s installed via Flatpak, everything is up to date. I’ve reinstalled LocalSend, I’ve reinstalled org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default, I’ve reinstalled my graphics drivers, I’ve prayed to my Torvalds-Shrine, I don’t know how to fix this. Other Flatpak apps, even the ones that use the same version of org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default work perfectly fine. Any ideas?
You obviously haven’t prayed hard enough.
I don’t know if this is related, but recently when updating graphics card packages, some of my flatpak apps (Bitwarden, especially) required removing cached GPU files:
rm -rf ~/.var/app/com.bitwarden.desktop/config/Bitwarden/Partitions/bitwarden/GPUCacheCould something similar be going on here for you?
There is no such directory for LocalSend. I just removed the entire directory and reinstalled, no luck. I can still use it, I know where all the buttons are, it’s just… weird
