They’ve done a really good job with NMS post-launch and I hope they’ll be able handle the launch of this better, but I think I’ll remain cautiously optimistic.

From what I read it was was mostly Sony pushing for an early launch. Maybe that won’t happen this time :)

Sounds like it could potentially be a great game to play with friends. I just hope there’s actually something to DO. Bosses to fight, things to craft, a goal to reach.

I would love the Valheim/Minecraft aproach, not just a fancy walking-game.

considering the games studio, the world is going to be dead and empty, borning+tedious to explore beyond an initial “wow so purdy” and the gameplay loop is going to be designed by someone who has no idea what fun is. hello games fundamentally has no idea how to design a good game, all the updates in the world can’t fix that. NMS is about as complex as candy crush, except the grind isn’t fun.

It’s sad because it could have been such a great game.

Given this we can assume their third game will be called “___ ___ NO”

I didn’t hate NMS when it came out, I bought it release day but I didn’t watch all the pre release stuff and thought it was expensive for what it was.

Definitely was great to see the work they put in over the years on that, they’ve got my trust at least (but I’m still not pre ordering!)

Yeah they made a really great game in the end. I bought it a couple years after release and loved it. I will be drooling over this one too but will be waiting for post release reviews.
