I honestly just assume most, or a food portion at least, are not even “real” people but wreckers, feds, etc. That are there for malicious purpose to cause strife. There were already some trickling in before the reddit drama but a massive influx out of nowhere would have been obvious. Then the reddit debacle went down and it gave them the perfect opportunity to flood in. A good number of the actual people have probably already gone back to reddit leaving a higher concentration of feds left over. At least that’s MY theory.
I don’t think there’s that many feds working on this sort of thing domestically. I think it’s easier to imagine these people are just run of the mill Americans. I mean, FFS, there are literal young Republican clubs all over the country in universities. That requires a special sort of distributed brain rot process affecting millions.
