    Thank you for the informative reply! I am curious; why does the framework laptop fall short of a dream laptop? Can you elaborate?

      We’re currently prototyping a low profile mechanical keyboard with a trackpoint for Virgo. There will be more to share in the future. All aspects of the system will be open sourced. Open firmware, open hardware with CAD files, etc.
