    It may be that we are just so used to the traitorous compradors and decaying imperialism everywhere that any industrialisation in capitalist country, even a military focused one, is seen as unexpected.

    • The war in Ukraine changed a lot of things at once. What Lenin once described as decades happening in weeks. I personally think that it took both the war and the sanctions to reindustralize Russia, but once the war is over, will Russia still be as industrialized? I think the sanctions will force Russia to maintain local production of many things it can’t import anymore, for everything else they will probably import from China and others.
