Nothing wrong with a hair transplant imo. Hair loss is cruel and if you have the means to get the surgery you should go for it

It’s like max 10 grand to get your hair back, can’t even buy a car for that

The issue isn’t that he got a hair transplant, the issue is that, if someone is lying about something as inconsequential as that, you can’t trust a word they say. Granted, it’s not even in the top ten reasons to not trust Trump, but it’s a reason nonetheless.

I guarantee if he admitted he had a transplant the above comment would be the same. It’s not inconsequential…there is a reason lots of people people go to Istanbul for months to get the surgery in secret. For some reason it’s not socially acceptable yet and I think it’s bullshit

I think nobody running for president would admit such surgery. Many voters would label you insecure

If Biden had a hair transplant would he admit it? Just playing devils advocate here

That’s a funny way to present things.

I’m all for a positive self imagine but hair loss is completely natural. Unless you’re living in the world where you deluded yourself into thinking you can be 18 forever just be you. Loving yourself is the first step in being attractive.

you realise this is insulting to people who genuinely suffer due to gender dysmorphia right?

I wouldn’t want you to be clueless and an asshole.

No, I didn’t realize that that comment would be insulting to people who suffer from gender dysmorphia. I consider “cosmetic” surgeries like breast reductions/enhancements or hair removal/transplants to be gender affirming care, because it’s more accurate.

I genuinely don’t understand how that might be considered controversial or insulting.

Trump, a vain pustule of a human being who never misses an opportunity to denigrate and insult people’s looks and disabilities, getting a fluorescent orange comb-around with the magic of medical science is not the same thing, you know it, I know it, that dumb fuck knows it. You’re just intentionally dragging people who genuinely suffer in their own bodies down to trump’s septic tank because I guess you hate transfolk that much.

Thanks for self identifying your hate, scumbag.

I’m still pretty confused here. I know the original thread was about how ridiculous Trump looks, but the comment I was replying to was only about hair transplants.

Is it because I’m calling it gender-affirming surgery?

why is a hair transplant something undignified? or is the money spent the issue? and yes i’m well aware of the stigma around cosmetic surgery as a whole, for both sexes.

i guess you could talk about low self estime angle but the pressure is social and brutal, it takes a lot of guts to tell the entire social paradigm to fuck off.

            but i agree with you.

That will go away as the surgery becomes more accessible. Do we make fun of people for fixing their fucked up looking teeth?

When my hair falls out I’m getting a transplant, and bragging about it, because the fact we have the ability to plant hair is actually awesome

by itself it’s not undignified at all.

the person who insults and denigrates everyone for things that are far beyond their control (making mocking a reporter with disability for example) - and then tries to appear verile and masculine by smearing 9" sideburns around their head?

Like whoa, weren’t conservatives against the longhairs? Haha and also, don, donny, donny boy, jeeze, have a modicum of self respect for fuck’s sake. We all know it’s a joke. You’re the only one you’re doing all this labor for.

Well, you, and the marks I guess. Always gonna be marks for carneys.

For real I started going bald at 25, I’m not out here spending used car money to chase youth… I’m old! Plus it saves a lot of money on haircuts when you just shave it and you can spend that money on shit that matters.

I don’t understand why cosmetic surgery is a loss of dignity

If you have the power to get your hair back and you give up and shave it I would say that’s more of a loss of dignity

it’s less the transplants and more the way he styles the mass.

I’m losing my hair. I’ve decided the side effects and drug costs aren’t worth the vanity.

Had a friend who lost all his hair between freshman and sophomore year of college, and I’ve always felt that it did nothing to reduce his masculinity or mojo, so perhaps it’s not that big of a deal. Every day more of my hair falls out and you know what, I’m ok with that. I’m in my 40s. It’ll be ok.

YMMV, but Trump’s obsession with insulting others means he’s fair game to me if I want to lampoon his folicular infrastructure. I hope you don’t think less of me for it.
