I also learned recently that if a country’s government doesn’t explicitly support LGBTQ rights that means all the people in that country also don’t support it. No country ever changes over time and nobody anywhere is struggling for liberation. This means we don’t need to support their struggle because they aren’t struggling!
Also we forget that in England in the 1970s women were expected to wear headscarfs outside. These are very recent changes in our society. Like how Hong Kong spent a total of 6 months as a democracy before being handed over to China

This is true, but compared to the rest of the middle East they’re still far ahead. Sexual activity with the same sex is legal and discrimination based on sexual orientation is illegal.

Although same-sex marriages are not performed in the country (as it does not have civil non-religious marriages), Israel recognizes same-sex marriages performed elsewhere.

Also, when I googled interfaith marriage in Israel the third result was an op-ed from Israel’s former deputy communications director, saying outside interfaith marriages are a “grave threat to the future of the Jewish people”
