This is so strange. The actual link you posted obviously doesn’t contain that image, so I’m not sure where it’s coming from. I don’t know how thumbnails are generated or communicated by websites that are being linked to. I’m guessing someone acting maliciously found a way to change the thumbnail for this screenrant post and decided that furry porn would be the best choice.
I did read a post earlier about malicious interception and how it was possible to do on federated networks but I can’t find that post now. Is it happening to ALL thumbnails for you, or just this one from Screen Rant
So far, it’s only this one. I’ve been reading the source for that ScreenRant page and the preview thumbnail link (tagged with og.image) has no sign of rimming. Sounds like it may be the malicious interception you’re describing.
… is anyone else seeing a thumbnail showing an anthro mouse giving a… I don’t know what that is, but the mouse is giving the other person a rimjob.
Yes, also on Kbin.
Yeah, I see it too…
All I see is a mousefolk bard playing his favourite instrument
I just want to say how much I appreciate your comment. Every time I come back to this thread, your comment makes me laugh.
Thanks. I appreciate hearing that :)
And now the people around me in the airport are looking at my funny. But thanks for the laugh.
Anytime! And don’t let those judgy tourists cramp your style.
We were all stuck due to a delay, they got over it quickly.
Nope? What platform are you accessing from?
Kbin via the PWA. I’d post a screenshot, but I don’t want to repost the porn if other people can’t see it.
EDIT: I have censored the screenshot, but I still don’t want to post it unless I’m asked.
That’s very strange, This is what it looks like for me on lemmy.world

Attempting censored screenshot upload…
Hey @ernest, you may want to take a look at this, someone may be maliciously injecting NSFW thumbnails into unrelated content.
I’m seeing the same thing on kbin via PWA
Sigh I just saw a jumble of lines and pictures till you pointed it out. But yes I see that on kbin.
