What has been taking up your time this week?
Something new or something from your never ending backlog make sure you share it with us here!
Trying to bid and win a Wii U off eBay. This might be the hardest step in setting up a Wii U emulation console.
Been playing Link’s Awakening on the Steam Deck. Halfway there, and SM64R96 is probably next.
Been playing Remnant 2, enjoying it but it’s brutal playing solo!
Still chipping away at Tears of the Kingdom, it’s an amazing world to lose yourself in.
Also playing the odd game of Vampire Survivors here and there, so damn addictive!
I’ve joined every other Steam user in playing Dave the Diver. Lovely.
From what I’ve seen of this it looks like a fantastic game with some awesome mechanics.
I can’t get enough of it.
It’s fun, mechanics are great, despite the fact they show me up for how shite my aim is! Boss fight are also decent so far.
If you’ve got a new computer (at least an Intel 386, with a Sound Blaster compatible card, and a fully-up-to-date DOS), you could do no worse than check out this year’s new releases at DosHaven .
Maybe make sure no-one wants to use the phone for a bit before you download though.
Sound Blaster. That’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time
Trying to get to grips with how to use Wordpress. I was told it would be dead easy by a friend (I used blogger before) but it’s a little bit overwhelming!
Still seem to have got somewhere with it at least by now…
Been playing Techtonica on the Game Pass - it’s been a while since I’ve dreamed about a game, but I kept making factory plans the other night. And - stupidly - I reinstalled Eve Online. Hooray for station trading.
The Wandering Village was added to gamepass last week and it is very good. Who doesn’t want to build a settlement on the back of a giant wandering creature that you have to look after while you try and survive! Once you get the hang of it it is quite easy though.
MXGP 2021, it was cheap and I bought it on a whim but I’m enjoying it a lot. I know almost nothing about the sport but the game is challenging in a fun way so far.
Squad still gets played most evenings for a few hours. Think of the Battlefield games before they went to shit and that is what Squad is.
I enjoyed The Wandering Village, but the micromanagement to stop the poison got on my nerves. Should get back to it really.
Yeah the first couple times with the poison was a pain with all the micro but once you get to the giogas and decontaminater it’s much better to deal with.
